BRING A FRIEND, GROW A LEADER!
Tayla came along to summer camp as a free friend. She had an incredible time making friends and getting involved in awesome camp activities. She came back to camp again to one of our winter camps, growing in her faith and her confidence in herself.
With her new found confidence, she then applied to be a part of our CYC Leaders In Training program, a two week leadership training opportunity, and now is one of our amazing camp leaders!
She fell in love with CYC camps after coming along with her friend for free.

Chelsea was planning to attend camp as a free friend last summer but almost pulled out because she was so nervous about being away from home. She ended up coming to camp and, with the support of her volunteer leaders and new friends, she had an awesome week on camp. Since then she has been on camp every season and also brought her family along to a CYC Family camp.
Going on camp pushed her out of her comfort zone and helped her realise her own capacity.
She is very grateful to the friend who brought her to camp for free.

1. In order to be eligible for the promotion, campers must be booked in and fully paid for camp by Sunday 25th August.
2. This promotion can only be used to ‘bring a friend’ to the same camp. The free camp cannot be used for other camps.
3. The free camp is only for a first-time camper; somebody who has not been to one of our Holiday Camps before.
4. Free camps must be claimed by Friday 4th November (although we suggest they are redeemed straight away!)
5. If for any reason the full-fee paying camper cancels out of the camp, the payment will be transferred to the friend receiving the free camp. If both campers cancel out of camp, our standard cancellation policy will apply.
6. All normal camp application processes apply, and spaces are not “saved” on camp for these promotional spaces. If camp is full before the application is received, the camper will be placed on a waiting list.
7. The ‘bring a friend’ promotion is only available for our Summer Holiday Camps and does not apply to Family Camps, LIT or other specialised programs, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
